Truffle hunting and truffle dishes

After a successful truffle hunt in the forests of Turopoljski lug, the course participants were able to taste homemade trganci (hand-torn pasta) with three kinds of cheese and grated, freshly gathered truffles at Hotel Dvorac Jurjevec in Brežane Lekeničke. They also tasted goat’s cheeses with truffles, prepared by Ivana Heitsiek from Vukojevac in cooperation with the family farm OPG Mario Kolić. The truffle hunting experience in the Turopolje forests now has a new starting point – a visit to the Mushroom Museum in Zagreb, which every mushroom lover should visit at least once and which also displays new truffle species from the Turopolje forests.
